Its that time of year! Time for PIE! I have to be completely honest and say that pie has never been my thing...I mean, if I had a choice, I would choose cake any and every day over pie. When I do sweets, I go all out and have something super rich and chocolatey. That being said, this pie is definitely up there in my book....i'm convinced... Buttery and flakey pie crust, sweet and tart filling, topped with a buttery streusel. So for all you pie lovers out there..this ones for you. Happy Baking!
You cant go wrong with a classic..Chocolate mousse holds a special place in my heart. When I was young it was always a special treat when we all got to go out as a family for dinner. Have I mentioned that I have a big family..there are 13 of us! Crazy, I know! Anyways, one of my favorite places we would frequently visit served chocolate mousse and if we were really lucky we would order a few and we would all share! It was a big deal and one of my favorite memories as a kid. Like I said, its a favorite of mine and always will be...
Im super excited about this post! Ive been working on this beauty all week..I have made this TWICE this week...mostly because I had a frosting/decorating fail..needless to say, DO NOT put frosting on top of caramel... it'll just slide on down the side of the cake..EPIC fail. All that to say, this cake is so good and even though I failed the first time, I wasn't sad at all that I had to make it twice...its THAT GOOD! Think spiced, moist pumpkin cake topped with a whipped caramel flavored buttercream combined with the sweet/crunchy texture of the brown sugar. OUT OF THIS WORLD!. I literally couldn't decide if i wanted to do a brown sugar frosting or a caramel frosting, my hubby wanted brown sugar and I wanted caramel...so I went with both..best decision I've made all week! Seriously! Do yourself a favor and make this cake. If a cake seems kinda intimidating or you simply want a mini version, make the batter and divide among 12-13 cupcake liners.. HAPPY BAKING!
Okay, GUYS! There are certain moments when I'm creating a recipe and everything goes exactly as I had wanted and I'm completely over the moon happy with the finished results....THESE cookies are one of those recipes. These babies are warm with flavor and spice, soft and everything you could ask for in a cookie. The best part, the dough requires NO chilling time! Win, Win! Nutella and snickerdoodle lovers will be head over heels for these! Have I convinced you yet? LETS BAKE!
Pop tarts literally bring me back to my childhood. It was the best day ever when my mom would come home from the store with pop tarts! I am not one to discriminate on any flavor of pop tart..they were all so good...however, brown sugar was my #1 favorite..hands down! These mini pop tarts are my own version of my favorite childhood treat and they do not disappoint! Flakey, buttery, almond studded crust, filled with a cinnamon brown sugar filling...doesn't get any better. These beauties are so worth the time and effort...THE best!
Sometimes you just need an easy breakfast option and these danishes are it! I went simple with these, using store bought crescent dough...topped with a creamy sweet potato cream cheese filling, then drizzled with a maple glaze...so unique and sooo good! Serve these beauties for breakfast, brunch or even dessert. So simple to make and so good! Fall baking at its finest.

If pumpkin milkshakes are your thing, then your going to LOVE this! Delicious pumpkin flavor, hints of sweet caramel and streusel. Blend together and enjoy! My favorite!
I love it when you write down a recipe, try it and it turns out perfect the first time...and every time after that! This recipe is that one! The best part...its not dry, which, from my experience, is a hard thing to find in cornbread! This cornbread is moist, soft and full of goodness! OH..and its super easy to make! Like, sooo easy! Top with whipped honey butter and you have a winner! Are you convinced yet? Lets get baking!
